Summary
Bulgasal: Immortal Souls depicts a sad but beautiful story of a man who has become invincible (不可殺), who cannot be killed or killed, and pursues a woman who has been reincarnated for 600 years.
In particular, different flows of time overlap, with some going to a past life, some going to a reincarnation, and another living alone for a long time and reaching the present. Among them, unknown emotions intersect in the face of Dan-hwal (Lee Jin-wook), who has become invisible to humans. It raises the question of why he chases after a woman for a long time and why he shows sadness rather than sad life in his eyes that he has lived only for revenge.
Min Sang-woon (Kwon Nara), who has been repeatedly reincarnated and chased by a mortal, also has scars in her eyes looking at a different place, so what kind of story is engraved between the two men and women?
In addition, Ok Eul-tae (Lee Jun), a huge wealthy man and a strong supporter of politicians, doubles the tension with his cold-blooded eyes without emotion, and attention is drawn to his veiled identity.
Dan-sol (Gong Seung-yeon), the wife of Dan-hwal 600 years ago and who has abilities that other people cannot understand, is immersed in sorrow while wearing a beautiful hanbok, raising curiosity about the story of the past.
Dansol’s father, Dangeuk, radiates solemn charisma while holding a sword in huge armor, and the presence of a gentle shaman who can see through fate and secrets in the future also creates a strange tension.
Nam Do-yoon (Kim Woo-seok) also has an unexpected face that erases the usual bright smile, adding to the meaning.
In addition, unknown afterimages overlap with the appearance of the 7 people, raising curiosity. As if connecting Dan-hwal and Min Sang-woon, the picture of a strange person in the center, the back of two people standing in the same place, and the shape of a child catch the eye as if memories of the past are floating.
