Summary
Dr. Brain is directed by Kim Ji-woon and is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. Lee Seon-gyun takes on the role of Go Se-won, a brain scientist who cannot empathize with other people’s emotions. Go Se-won tries to unravel the mystery of what happened to his wife and son after they become victims of an unexplained accident.
Lee Yoo-young plays Jeong Jae-yi, Se-won’s wife, who is in a coma after making an extreme choice after the shock of her son’s death.
Park Hee-soon takes on the role of Lee Kang-moo, who is looking for Jeong Jae-yi’s whereabouts.
Seo Ji-hye takes on the role of Choi Soo-seok, a detective in charge of the investigation into the murder of Lim Joon-gi, who was close to Jeong Jae-yi.
Lee Jae-won plays Hong Nam-il, Go Se-won’s colleague and junior.
