We, who were educated to be ‘good people’ from a young age, want to be evaluated as ‘good people’ by others. The movie ‘A Good Person’ tells the story of a man, Pyeong-Seok, whose inner side is shaken by the choices he made to become a ‘good person’ between doubt and faith.
Although he tried to be a good person to others, the story of Pyeong-seok, whom he wanted to believe the most, gives a heavy resonance.
The movie ‘Good People’ revolves around high school teacher Kyung-seok (Kim Tae-hoon) and student Sa-ik (Lee Hyo-je). A student’s wallet disappears from the class, and Sa-ik is pointed out as the culprit. However, Sa-ik denies that he is not himself until the end. There is a student who wants to believe in Sa-ik, but saw him searching for uniforms in the classroom alone in PE class. Nevertheless, Pyeong-seok says, “Teacher believes in you.”
