Summary
Midnight Runners: Ki-joon (Park Seo-joon), a passionate young man, enters the police academy because of a scholarship rather than a sense of mission. Classes taken without a sense of purpose are boring, even seemingly useless. His close classmate, Hee-yeol (Kang Ha-neul), is a gifted student from a science high school, but he is a four-dimensional young man who wants to become a police officer, saying, ‘KAIST is too ordinary.’
The two go out and accidentally witness a kidnapping. As they learned at school, they immediately report it to the police, but it is difficult to trigger an investigation due to complicated procedures and lack of evidence. In a hurry, they secretly went to investigate the case, but they couldn’t hide the confusion in the real situation that was completely different from the class.
