Summary
Search Out is an SNS tracking thriller that tells the story of two people (Lee Si-eon) and Jun-hyeok (Kim Seong-cheol) who sense that death is being manipulated through a questionable message and face the reality of social media crimes that have deeply penetrated into their daily lives.
It depicts another reality horror following ‘Hide and Seek’, ‘Apartment’ and ‘Door Lock’ with the theme of social media deeply embedded in the daily life of modern people. The movie is based on the motif of the ‘Blue Whale Game Incident’, which led about 130 teenagers to suicide in Russia. It is also the first lead role on screen by Heo Ga-yoon, a former member of 4minute.
