Summary
There is No Goo Pil-Soo is a comic human drama created by characters closely related to reality, centered on the bromance of Jeong-seok in his 20s, a preliminary start-up.
Kwak Do-won takes on the role of Goo Pil-soo, a former Taekkyeon player in his 40s who now runs a chicken restaurant in front of a residential area. He is a small town uncle who doesn’t see much now, but when he was young, he was a fire man who had nothing to fear in the world.
Yoon Doo-joon transforms into Jeong-seok, a young entrepreneur who dreams of becoming Korea’s ‘Mark Zuckerberg’. Jeong-seok enters Seoul’s top prestigious university as a senior, and as a developer and leader of the hackathon winning team, he is a genius who excels in everything.
Han Go-eun takes on the role of Nam Sung-Mi, a saleswoman at a luxury department store and Goo Pil-soo’s wife. Based on her innate beauty and intelligence in the past, she is a character whose life changes 180 degrees as she falls in love with the old man she met just like her destiny.
Park Won-sook plays the role of 10 million-geum, a ‘Mrs. Don’, who has no blood or tears in front of money. Ten million gold looks like a gentle and kind grandmother on the outside, but behind her smiling face is full of hidden mysteries.
